Illinois Women In Networking would like to invite you to be our guest at our next networking meeting.
What is Illinois Women In Networking or as we like to refer to ourselves, IWIN? We are a group of small home-based, family friendly, faith minded women who get together the first Wednesday of each month in the evening to network our businesses. During this fast paced power hour and a half we share ideas on how to grow our businesses, learn about each others business and products so as to better equip ourselves in promoting each other and gathering referrals. If your looking for events, you have come to the right place too!
Each month one member is highlighted and does a mini show with cash & carry items of her business which some members say is their favorite part of the meeting. Not to worry because each member gets to highlight one product of their business every month too. We also have business brief where a member will give a talk on a subject that can be beneficial to each member in growing their business. This is also a time that some members say is their favorite part of the meeting. We also have guest speakers come in from time to time. All members bring in their business cards, brochures and sales flyers each month. To say we support and buy from each other is putting it mildly!
IWIN is not just about us but about the community and communities around us! We hold events through out the year. Some are for our members but most our to benefit those in need. In the past we have held events and raised money for Freeport Pregnancy Center, American Red Cross, Freeport Little League, Freeport Friends Forever Human Society, and private citizens, to name a few. We also give to the food pantries on a regular bases.
We feel there is no better way to grow our business than to give back as we are working our business.
Let each of you look not to his own interests, but also to the interest of others. Philippians 2:4
IWIN's first meeting
IWIN had their first meeting in June 2009. Since then we have grown and evolved. I am confident we will continue to grow and evolve even more in 2012. Many changes are coming along with a few big events with some big non-for-profits which will be IWIN exclusive.
What are the requirements to being a member of Illinois Women In Networking?
To be a member all you have to do is have a home-based business, no store fronts. It can be a product or service, must be family friendly which means it can be presented in front of a child. Only one rep. per direct sale businesses or certain similar type. Attend most meetings. Be prepared to refer your fellow members when possible. Also we ask that at least once a year you help out on a planning committee or project of your choice. You also must be invited by a member in good standing to attend your first meeting.
What are the benefits to becoming a member of Illinois Women In Networking?
Your name, logo and business will go on our website which will link back to yours. As a member you will be able to have first choice to all our events of which 1-2 of them a year are free. We get asked to step in and help with fund-raising events. As a member you again would have first choice in participating. Attend our Christmas dinner of which IWIN picks up most of the tab. Be a part of the Freeport and Polo Chambers that we are members of and be able to network at their events. All your info will go in our soon to be revamped brochure too.

Further Questions?
If you have further questions or would like to attend the next Illinois Women In Networking meeting. Please click on the attend a meeting tab and fill out the submission form here on the website with a good time to get back to you. It is important that we have you on our guest list as soon as possible as we are always inviting new people, especially from a direct sales business. It's a first come first join, per board approved, and we would hate to have the uncomfortable situation of two reps from the same business showing up at our meetings so please let us know ASAP.
We look forward to having you join us at the next Illinois Women In Networking Meeting with hopes that you find us to be a great beneficial tool in growing your wonderful business.
With Gods Love, Renee Blazeski Founder / Event Coordinator
